I've got a ulcer type thing on the bottom side of my tongue that won't go away. Been there for 3-4 weeks. Hurts like hell.

According to webMD, it is either AIDS, cancer, syphilis, or a common tongue sore.

It's AIDs. It's always AIDs.
When did it start? DId it just pop up or did you bite it one day or hit your mouth or anything like that?

My sister in law is a nurse and ruled out syphilis because I didn't have a rash on my hand.

It just started. I don't recall any trauma to the area. I thought it was an ulcer and would just go away but this dude's been hanging around for a month. It had a little head pop up like a pimple last week and I withstood the pain and popped it off there and figured that was the end if it. It is still there and still sore and has kinda like a crater there now. 
Sister in law looked at it today and said it looked a little infected. Kinda pink. I rinsed and gargles with some peroxide last week.

You can have syphilis without a hand rash. Nurses are great! MrsTyger is one, but they don't exactly get diagnostic skills in nursing school.
I would rule out syphilis based on the fact you've only bange MrsWales in recent years. Unless she's been finding some strange?

It has looked like a red spot the whole time. I felt the head come up at work and picked it off at work so I never looked at it
