The only thing negative I've heard about them (if I have to get picky) is the trigger. Too much creep, not crisp. But these deals...get a trigger job and have a damn good rifle for a steal.

really thinking about the 22-250 just for kicks. even at less than $500, with some trigger work, find a end-of-season deal on a scope from BPS or Cabelas...damn what a deal for a nice varmint gun.

I can’t stand the stocks, and I hate that there’s only one action length. Other than, outstanding rifle for the money

I think you’d have to cut it pretty far back on that barrel profile. I don’t know off hand the min barrel length for 300wm however

The trigger is said to be superb. Sako uses it in their firearms and I have tried them out in the store. I didnt feel any creep like you are talking about. Its possible that the one you messed with did have it though as no firearm manufacturer is flawless.

yeah, I agree, and was surprised at the one I played with at the store. I'm wanting bad a 300WM or 30 Nosler in next couple of years and I'm looking hard at Sako and a couple of other makers.

I'd like to extend some gratitude to the OB for helping me spend some money today! Got my new 22-250 in the mail.

Yes, got my display model 30-06 on Tuesday, plus the backpack.

Very satisfied with it. It may have been a display model, but it is as new and it came in the original box.

Does eurooptic have a storefront? If they're internet only, then what would a display or demo model be?

My Tikka box had a small Bass Pro label on it, so my guess is that Eurooptic buys up a bunch of display models from other sources and then resells them.

But maybe they do have a storefront of their own, I don't know.

They have a storefront. It's in PA. Buddy of mine went by when he was working in Williamsport last summer. Unless they have moved to online only now.
