Does anyone have a rec on an electric fence for dogs? I’m tired of chasing the shitheads a mile down the road every time i let them out in the backyard.
Also, anyone know what sport dog 800 two collar system is worth? I might trade these in for a sportdog fence training combo system.

How are they getting out of your backyard? That might be a cheaper solution.

My parents have a petsafe wireless fence, works great for their lab and mine, when she's over there. I just ordered one for myself.

I also have the Petsafe wireless fence system. I was pretty skeptical about it keeping my lab contained. But honestly it's been the best thing I've tried.

Petsafe is a very good product. I used their underground wired fence for several years. It covered 10 acres and worked great. I'm now using the wireless version on a smaller property, and it also works great. The wireless system is great for a smaller property due to its easy setup.

Like someone else asked "how are they getting out" and what kind of dogs? Some breeds have a high threshold of pain so the fence won't work.

Two GSP’s that dig under a 6’ wood fence. I lined the ground with 8”x16”x2” concrete blocks and it didn’t even slow them down.
They’re collar trained and pretty well mannered for the most part. I know they need as much excersize as possible, and that’s why I want to be able to leave them out as much as possible to make up for the days where i can only bring them on a short walk.

I ordered the Stubborn Dog pet fence off of Amazon for 200 with upgraded wire. I have a little under an acre and 1000 ft was plenty. I rented a cable trencher for a day and was able to bury all of the wire in about 2 hours.
Cable Trencher
If you are not a DIY person you can hire someone to install one. My dog is hard headed as shite and he wont cross the boundary.
