Definitely delete these posts, wouldn't want anyone to find out where Enstar (N29 04.858 W90 58.609), Pickets (N29 06.554 W91 03.524) or Mardi Gras (N29 07.502 W91 10.688) rigs are. Those are the number one kept secrets in saltwater fishing.

From Grand Caillou to:

Enstar is 5.5 miles
Pickets is 7 miles
Mardi Gras is 12.4 miles.

Don't think i would do it in a flat bottom boat.

If you knew the track from Coco Marina to Pelican Lake through the marsh, you can fish Pelto, Whiskey Island, Caillou Boca, and the east side of Caillou Bay in a flat bottom boat no problem. You would only be 4 a minute run to protected water.

no. Not yet. I'll make my first trip out in two weeks when dad gets a break with work. Heard a report though. Things were shaping up for a good summer

I won't be able to make it for a few weeks myself. Everyone I've talked to
Is having a great start to what will hopefully be a great summer. I'll try to leave some trout for y'all.

The trout are one month ahead of where we normally would expect to see them due to warm waters. So that first week in June when the islands are on fire is... now.
