Our DU Chapter in Kingwood, TX had it's banquet last night. We used to get our own table but none of my hunting buddies want to make the drive here anymore so I just go solo now and sit with random people. A guy and his wife sitting next to me dropped at least $5K in the auction. He actually brought his own gallon of Crown and by the time the auction started he was lit like a Christmas tree. He ended up getting a dove trip to Argentina, a fishing trip down in Lafitte, and a Kimber 1911 for about $2K.
I won a Charles Daly 20 over/under in the raffle. Anybody want to buy it from me? NIB. Starting bid $350.
