It stems from my hatred of losing fish. 15 lb Big Game breaks at 2.73 lbs. I could not adjust.

Floro will get knicks or abrassions easy and is useless when it does. Just keep an eye on your line and feel right above your knot after every fish/ hang up, etc...

Im out of this thread, cant handle all the big game blasphemy

Should I just get a new PowerTech 19 from Mark and stop trying to find a used mercury? The search sucks.

Would try one first. He has my new boat today putting a trolling motor on. Need him to check my prop. Says its a 23 but only turing 4900rpms. Should turn more than that with a 26

I use 17lb P-Line. I find it ties better and it doesn't get memory as fast as the vanish which a lot people fish with cuz everybody else does. I use the moss green color. But if you don't wanna use a fluorocarbon line you might wanna try the Berkeley trans optic line. Its pretty good as well.

I have been using it for about 2 years and I haven't had any problems with it. Just think its all in when ya buy the line. If its been on the shelf a while could be a problem many people have no matter the brand.

I've never used the big game. Might have to get a spool and try it. I like the avi BTW...
