I bought 3 sets, hung a set at 3 different houses in 3 different cities.
Website directions say to double the number recommended when starting the process (or during high season). I did this.

Not a single one has a dead mosquito in it.
This is not how it works. It baits and attracts the females to feed. Then whatever active ingredient in it stops them from reproducing. (I believe it is mostly yeast, but I'm not sure.)

Also, we can tell no difference in the number of mosquitos around.
It attracts them. So, you should place it away from your active areas. And it does take time to stop the life cycle.
Other than that, I don't really know what to tell you other than I am in a high population environment, and I don't have any issues.

Thanks, I was under the impression that it attracted female mosquitos and they would be trapped inside, that the insides were supposed to be littered with dead mosquitos. The tubes are about 30-40 feet away from seating areas. I put them out at the end of March when there were hardly any mosquitoes.

Directions say the traps should be at least 90 feet away from seating areas. Because they are attracting the mosquitos.

Even if you do have the population knocked down by having a few life cycles pass without replacement offspring, the close proximity of the units may continue to attract mosquitos to your seating area.
