Thanks, I was under the impression that it attracted female mosquitos and they would be trapped inside, that the insides were supposed to be littered with dead mosquitos. The tubes are about 30-40 feet away from seating areas. I put them out at the end of March when there were hardly any mosquitoes.

Even if you do have the population knocked down by having a few life cycles pass without replacement offspring, the close proximity of the units may continue to attract mosquitos to your seating area.
