First Louisiana Duck

Littlepndab invited my fiance back to west virginia for some deer hunting. I haven't killed a deer in over a decade and fiance has never been hunting.

Her first ever deer

Had 3 does come over a hill and dropped all 3.

Thankfully the first one didn't run far after getting shot. 2nd one broke her neck and the 3 started running up the hill and rolled down back by the 1st. Took a picture of where she rolled down to

Much appreciation to littlepndab for the great time! Was good to bring plenty of deer meat back and give some to my parents since my dad doesn't get to go deer hunting anymore.

I was nevous as hell right before she shot. She's accurate with a rifle, but gets jittery way to easily.

This thread needs a sticky. Period. thanks to the Outdoor Board because I have always been an outdoorsman since I can remember. And, because of this board, to where I can talk with legit outdoors guys who care about continuing the greatness of it all, I have renewed my appreciation for what God has given us.

A sticky would be cool but I don't want to take anything away from the scenery thread either.

We will start with my first duck ever in LA

figure it would be best followed with a few other of our takes throughout our "learning" season (nerd guy and I)

During our trip back home (WV) the bucks didnt cooperate, but we did bag a total of 7, 3 bucks, nerd guys fiances button, and nerd guys 3 does. We did fill the freezers with sausages and steaks! here are a few game camera picks, my dad has most of them and unfortunately the images of the bigger bucks are still with him...

While in WV, nerd guy honed his skills at not only field dressing but skinning, butchering, and processing

All in all the trip was great!
I would also like to thank everyone on the OD board who helped us through our first LA ducks season. Thanks for the tips and words of advice! Hope to continue the hunts in the future.
