Haven’t been in a month since I couldn’t find trout in any of my spots both inside and out.
Anyone having any luck?

Todd Masson was there this week catching dink trout under birds with a few other boats nearby. He peeled off to try in the marsh and them came back to that spot. I'm pretty sure he was in the area of Four Horse where it connects to Lake Campo. Based on my trip results Tuesday out of Hopedale I could be dead wrong. Jack at Sweetwater would give you a straight up answer for good potential spots.
I can tell you where they ain't this week but were last week. Oyster reefs and points around Calebasse, Two Trees and out from the spoil canal. The water for this time of year was as dirty as I've ever seen it. Out by the beginning of the long rocks, filthy.
With all the clouds recently it's about impossible to check MODIS for clean water.
I'm surprised they're catching specks inside out of Delacroix, closer to the river, but that seems to be a trend this summer and where I'm headed next week.

Don't go here lol. We did catch 10" specks and smaller white trout but nothing worth keeping.

Mardi Gras is blowing out all that river water. Be careful if running around in point la hache. Was running 45 in a large canal and almost ripped my lower unit off from a big sand flat that formed in the middle of the damn thing. Oh not to start another debate but PLH is gaining land like I’ve never seen it in a while. I think that’s very promising. Now if the empire side could get back to what it was.

Thanks for the replies.
I saw that Todd Mason video and was surprised about the trout on the inside at Delacroix.
Mr Breeze, I would greatly appreciate a report about your trip. Good luck.
