I believe it’s due to two reasons. Mardi Gras pass and the storms put a hurting on the grass.

21 trout, 1 red today. They were under diving birds near 4 horse. Should be able to get live shrimp but they were hitting plastics too. Caught a few on bottom matrix shad and 3/8 jighead. I think you will do well if you catch it on the right day.

You must have hit it lucky with those 21 trout. I went to Delacroix yesterday also and tried all over. Only got 3 trout and got 3 limits of reds in Bay Lafourche.

You really had to be in the right spot. Fish were moving all over. Had to find the birds There's been many times I've come back in with nothing and people at the tables cleaning fish.
