How many straps do ya'll use on your ladder stands? Do you also use chains and turnbuckles?
I just moved one of my 2 man stands and used 2 ratchet straps. Thinking I need to add another.
On a side note its now sitting between 2 crossings I have found. Cant wait, got a lot of crossing action on cams!

With a regular little metal ladder stand I feel fine with two good ratchet straps.
Bigger stuff gets bigger straps. I trust good ratchet straps more than anything else.

Nylon straps lose their strength with time due to sun light, flood waters, tree rats, etc. Inspect them on a regular basis. Trust me, it's hard to be cool when you fall from a tree stand.

I prolly need to check the other stands and straps.

one ratchet strap for one man ladders
two for two man ladders
just make sure the tree rats have not eaten them
also make sure the feet are on good solid ground or put a piece of wood down there.

Check every year, and don't trust anyone else or you could end up falling 20+ feet

Anyone using a ladder stand should be wearing a harness.
