I just notice The Deer Depot in St. Rose has closed. Where do people of metro New Orleans people go to get their deer processed?

I live in Mandeville, and work in St. Rose.

I used them up until this year. They botched my last order pretty good last year. I’ve decided to grind my own this year and if I want specialty sausage I’ll take it to begerons in Covington.

I wonder what happened with them.

I'll never use them again after trying them out last year.

Yeah Pete sold it, but the people he sold it to had it for 2-3 years before shutting the doors this year.

I tried DD last year and I personally was not impressed. Tamales sucked.
