I am looking for a very specific utility trailer and it seems I might have to get something custom built to get exactly what I want.

I’m looking for a 7x18’ utility trailer with side loading ramps not a side gate. I would also like the rear gate to be 2’-3’ with a dove tail.

Since this trailer would be left outside I am thinking of going with a powder coating instead of paint. I also would like it to be gray or tan and not the typical black color.

I have looked online but haven’t seen many that match my specs that are not large equipment carriers. I am looking for something with a 7k lb range not 10k lb to keep the costs down some.

I’m in the Houma area if someone can recommend a custom builder or knows of something that fits those specs from the bigger names. I’ve looked at load trail, big Tex, Goliath, diamond C and top hat.

Call Mitch at circle m trailer in mansura. He will build it however you want. Great people at reasonable prices. Our family has 8-10 of their trailers and they are all well built and they stand by their work Worth the drive from Houma.

I bought a trailer similar to the one in this link. Place is called Trout Tire & Trailer in Porter, Tx near Houston. They do custom work. I’ve had no issues and love the side ramps / removable side rails. To see some of their other trailers, look under “More” at the top of the webpage. Also, they used to post actual inventory trailers on Craigslist but not sure if they still do.
