Sorry for yet another trail cam post...

I have been in the cell camera wormhole for a few years and have yet to pull the trigger. I am going to this year with a new lease. I keep finding myself drawn to the new cuddeback system it seems like a good idea and only one cell plan. Does anyone have any experience with the new dual cameras?

If you have a different one you prefer that you have used or currently use can you tell me why to help clear my head with all the models and choices? TIA

Yes I followed that thread closely and your comments are what turned me on to the cuddleback dual. Was just keeping the idea fresh for other opinions but will likely spend my Cabelas points on them this weekend.

Thanks for your detailed response in the other thread it helped a lot.

I don't think they offered that package last year when I bought mine... or I didn't see it... or maybe I wanted to try black flash and long range IR flash cameras to see which one I liked better before committing to 3 long range Ir and only one black flash. I can't really remember.

The reason I got the cell base as opposed to a dual cell camera is because,

1) I figured a base did one thing and would do it well rather than putting a camera with it, and

2) where I wanted to put the cell base between our two main food plots wasn't really a good spot for a camera, and I may eventually move it when I put more cameras out, and attach it to a tripod stand more in the center of the farm.

I actually ordered the dual cell and a long range IR, but then canceled it and ordered the cell base, one black flash and one long range IR flash.

If where you want your cell base camera is a good spot for a camera, and in range of the other 3, then go for it. I have had no issues with the long range IR or the black flash cameras.
