Yeah, that’s not true. Like, at all. Easily 3-4 times the demand for Sunday. But Friday and Saturday are big as well.
We had 300 acres of crawfish and that was certainly true. Most of the talk I hear, still, is about bar b quing for Easter Sunday cause people have been on the crawfish thing for 6 weeks of Lent. Maybe it's cause I live in an areas that has a lot of crawfish farming.

On friday gatherings, no meat; whereas, Sunday, choice of meat or seafood.

He won't take payment in advance and reserve your sack? Seems like money up front would be a no-brainer for him.

Evangeline and St Landry aren't worried about the numbers. They've been selling peelers since the end of February. They have a place that's going on week 3 of 1.99 boiled on Mondays and Tuesdays. And personally, i know way more ppl that boil the Friday over the Sunday.

Just bought two sacks at satsuma seafood. By 190 and satsuma road. They make you put 40 per sack down as deposit. But that locks you in for the weekend. 2.49/lb

There may actually be a lot of validity to that. I know here around Baton Rouge, I sold for many years. For every 100 sacks I sold on Friday, I sold 350 on Sunday. And that may be because I was the only fool who actually opened for most of the day on Sunday to take care of customers. My Sunday orders could have been artificially inflated.
