I don't miss any, so all my bites turn into a fish in the chest. And yes, I tightline with a shiner. I pull up on the buttonwoods and drop my line straight down.

Yep. Then slowly bring it up a foot or so every minute until I get a bite. Check the shiner, then start over.

We went out of Butte Larose last weekend looking for bass but tried half assed to catch some slabs. There was so much traffic we just skirted the banks and caught a couple bass and some goggle eye. Still good times. Got plenty of weird looks from everyone.

Kayak. I bought one a couple of months ago. Me and Deacon have been wanting to get together and make a trip, but it hasn't happened yet.
