Bites? Cool. I don't want any fish

You tight line shiners?

I don't miss any, so all my bites turn into a fish in the chest. And yes, I tightline with a shiner. I pull up on the buttonwoods and drop my line straight down.

You ever yak fish for sacs? I'm thinking about strapping mine to my boat and bringing it with me. I don't know how much time I'll have this weekend though.

Yep. Then slowly bring it up a foot or so every minute until I get a bite. Check the shiner, then start over.

Almost bought one of those long poles at lunch. Changed mind and will just use ultra light spinning.

We went out of Butte Larose last weekend looking for bass but tried half assed to catch some slabs. There was so much traffic we just skirted the banks and caught a couple bass and some goggle eye. Still good times. Got plenty of weird looks from everyone.

One of these days we'll hook up. I still haven't been able to convince any of my friends to buy one.

Kayak. I bought one a couple of months ago. Me and Deacon have been wanting to get together and make a trip, but it hasn't happened yet.
