I was just curious as to "why" and I agree it ain't rocket science but every boat comes with a different pain level labor wise. For example, your boat would be easier to do than my '18 Nitro Z18.

Use tinned marine wire, rosin core solder, and heat shrink for it and should be good.
This. Also, read up on marine color code is a must. Had used Blue Sea stuff in the past.
