mohalk and EA6B are correct. Solder is not recommended as it creates a fatigue point and poor mechanical connection.

I was just curious as to "why" and I agree it ain't rocket science but every boat comes with a different pain level labor wise. For example, your boat would be easier to do than my '18 Nitro Z18.

This. Also, read up on marine color code is a must. Had used Blue Sea stuff in the past.
