It's been a while for me but, IIRC, you can got to the ladotd website and search for it there. I believe they have a GIS tool you can use as well.

You can close in place. You don't have to pull it. Just pour some bentonite pellets down there.

Don't do this.

If the bentonite isn't hydrated properly, you could have some serious issues with your slab.

Its a 2 inch well. Pour a jug of water down after pouring the pellets down the hole. Voila.

Don't make this overly complicated.

I've P&A thousands of water wells.

for a 2" well chips will work fine

It would depend on the depth. 10' would probably be ok. 200', I wouldn't try it.


Also, when did water wells get turned over to DNR?
