You can get black coated or stainless.

I got mine for $398 on Bud's and paid the extra 20 for a transfer fee. So, I paid total around $420 for my Kahr and don't regret it for a second.

Here it is with my other babies. My Ruger SR9c at the top is my other carry piece.

I also suggest you snag one of the full-grip 7 round mags.

Bapple,

Any info on the taurus 9? Not sure on model bit it was a single stack and looked like the glock... Guy at gunshop today was trying to sell me on it. It was a good price and small thin 9mm also.. But not sure on a taurus.

Also how big is the ruger lc9 compared to the kahr and others?

Okay what about out of these 3.. Pros and cons... For my use, looking for thin, lightweight, reliable, use alot with cargo shorts during summer.

Diamondback db9

I've heard some nightmare stories of quality control issues. Then again, this was a while back. I haven't given Diamondback much thought since the gun feels so cheap compared to others.

A great CC option. I'm just not a huge fan of the magazine disconnect safety. I don't know if you can remove it like you can on the SR9c. The day I bought my SR9c I took out that damn mag disconnect safety.

Kahr 9

You know the story here...

As for size and weight, all of them are about on the same plane. I think the Kahr has the best trigger and it's a solid piece of metal with no safties in the way. The Ruger and Kahr are on par for sights. The Ruger has a loaded chamber indicator, a mag disconnect safety, and a thumb safety if that's your thing. The LC9 is based on the Keltec so I'm sure shooting one would feel similar.

I would go with either the Ruger or Kahr, depending on which fits you. I personally think the Diamondback is a bad choice, but that's a decision you'll need to make on your own.

I carried a ,357 as my duty gun for 20 yrs, so I believe in power. That being said, a.380 in your pocket is better than a .45 sitting in your truck if you get in a bind. I am buying an LCP as soon as I can find one.

This may be a dumb question, but I'm new to the cc game. For you fellers who carry iwb, do the holsters allow you to tuck in your shirt?

They make "tuckable" IWB holders, but most people go untucked.

Thanks for the response.

See I have a job the requires me to tuck in my shirt. I also have to pick up and deliver shite for clients in not so good areas, so I wanna be strapped. I guess I'll probably have to pocket or ankle carry. I wear pants 99.9% of the time. Lookin at s&w j frames for cc at the moment.

Since i already have the glock 23 i may get an iwb holster for it and carry it when im wearing the right clothes... And probably buy the ruger lcp to carry the rest of the time.

I have a tuckable holster that I carry a G26 in. I let the bottom of my shirt blouse out just a bit and you can't see it for anything.

My White Hat holster is just like a crossbreed and is tuckable. But I hardly ever Tuck it. It's just too easy to conceal when my shirts out. Then again, I've worn it tucked and it was still pretty concealed.
