What is the going cost for a clutch replacement with parts and labor? I bought my uncle's old truck, who was more like a grandfather to me, and I can't let go of it. It's a little B2500 1998 Mazda pickup truck.

Check the clutch master and slave cylinder before pulling the transmission to replace the clutch components. How many miles is on the what I assume is the original clutch.

If it's a 2wd it's a very easy job, I could probably get it done locally for 300 bucks labor.Add The cost of your parts. That's with me supplying the clutch and pressure plate and having the flywheel ground. I would do it myself though. If it's 4wd, then that will cost more.

Check the master cylinder and slave first, like the other guy said.

Google the parts needed, price them on rock auto, I’d budget 8 hrs labor.

It is a 2wd but it needs the master, slave cylinder, and a pre bled line is what all I will need. Along with the clutch.
