I bought a new dodge truck about 6 months ago. My son bought a used dodge truck week ago that had the Dodge Ram chrome running boards that I wanted. I took them off his truck and put on mine but they are a little scratched up. What's the best way to get the scratches or swirl marks out? Would like them to look nice as my truck is brand new

I don’t know man, I just feel like he may notice this.

Well, not if he can get the scratches out, that would be his proof that they were not his

Scratches are very difficult to remove from chrome. If it is polished stainless steel, it can be polished out.

May have to get the chrome stripped, then rechromed...

I feel like if the aesthetics are that important, you should have just spent another $225-$350 on a brand new set and saved time and effort.

You can't get scratches out of a chrome coating.
