you can hunt marsh or u can go further out into the delta and hunt open water (most of it is sandy, clay hard bottom, there are some bad spots) basically freshwater marsh out in the gulf...the place is so big you can easily get away from the idiots if you put your time in and scout, we purposely hunt an area that takes work to get into just to get away from people...tidal effects are strong, ill walk to my blind in the morning in ankle deep water and walk out in stomach high water sometimes...its all worth it because there are loads of ducks, one day i might not be that mad at em

its a great place to hunt, we actially have a lease further north and east, but it's still considered the Wax....we dont have to deal with many idiots either or the sandy bottom......they have shite loads of ducks where AGP is talking about but you gotta work for them
