Any suggestions?

PS Frontline works very well imo, Adams does not.

Since this is the outdoor board I assume you are asking for a dog. But, if you have cat(s) you can buy the Advantage II for dogs and just use a reduced portion on your cat. Same stuff just much cheaper per unit of measure. Google will tell you how many mL to use. Of course this is only if you haven't shot all the cats within 500 yards of your house and this being the OB I will assume you have.so nevermind.

As for your question: try ebay but only buy from reputable sellers as unsafe/ineffective copys are out there.

Trifexis FTMFW

but you got to remember that the flea/dewormer/HW preventatives don't work for ticks and lime disease is a bitch

My dogs are on Trifexus as well. Pretty good price for all around care. Fleas, heartworms, and any parasites.

This is what I use. I get it for free. I just gave away a couple year of heartguard to a few friends.

wanna know a cool trick?

buy a dosage,(as you know it goes buy weight, so i guess a weight higher), higher than what you need and half/quarter them.. it should save you some $$$, depending on how much the vet charges

What's the cost of Trifexis...

For example frontline is about $13 per dose roughly (Walmart)

I might have some frontline flea med. If I do, it will be for large dogs and I will give that away. I will have to look and see.

I've used sentinel and trifexis. I believe the sentinel is a little cheaper, so that's what I normally use. Is was severely back ordered for almost a year and I used the trifexis in the mean time.

Both are heart worm preventatives too. I usually get the scrip from the vet and order from 1800 pet meds, vet doesn't like it but it routinely saves 30-40. 1800 price matches too in case you find it somewhere else any cheaper. Great customer service too

I'm not sure if this is why, but I worm my dogs with ivomec and they never have flea problems.

I give them a bath in happy jacks about once a month in the summer as well

I use ivomec too but fleas are bad ATM. Golden had surgery and came home from vet with fleas presumably. now all my pets have fleas. None before vet visit.

I use trifexis and it has worked great. As another poster mentioned, you can by a bigger dosage and just split the pills to save some money. The difference in medication might be double or triple for the bigger pills but they only charge $5 more for them.

Also, my vet prices trifexis cheaper at his clinic than you can order online because he says the online places are not licensed to sell dog medication. Only vets are so take that fwiw.

I would order the Jeffer's brand with the same active ingredients as frontline/advantix or whatever. Get it for a fraction of the price.
