Any of you baws run a CB radio plugged into the cigarette lighter? If so do you have any issues with it?

Edit: It be used in a jeep but only during trail rides and when out hunting in areas without cell service.

It will work but that’s not an ideal setup. I think that will likely give you some road noise feedback while your driving. As to say a whistling type of sound through the speakers as your on and off the accelerator. Caused I believe by current or amp draw from the alternator spooling up and down. Or some shite like that.

Itll work fine as long as its just a regular radio and antenna. If you start putting amps and all that stuff you need a new circuit, big wires, capacitor, etc
