re: Canoe float trip with son - Buffalo River or other

That's a great trip on the Buffalo. I want to do this with my son. Did it years ago with a men's group from my church. Had a blast, except a rain came in from the West and the river rose up on us at 4:30 am and we had to break down our gear quickly as we were in a canyon, so that was pretty scary to be in your canoe in the dark tied to a tree and watch the water rise four feet in 30 minutes.
