I’ve had friends go with crooked wing and fowl plains. Both would recommend.

Have hunted with Crooked Wing and Blackfoot around Lubbock. Always feels like they hunt very competitive ground and you are battling other groups in the area.

Started going with FowlPlains Outfitters. They are north of town and seem to deal with less pressure. They also built a new lodge last year.

hunted with Cadillac Creek Outfitters in Amarillo. I can say the absolute best goose hunting that I have ever experienced. They do have crane hunting, but admittedly, it is not their preference. From what they said, geese are more predictable than cranes.

our first hunt, they watched.....knowing they had a film crew coming. they wanted to know if we could shoot. well, their film crew spent the next three days with us.

wind was brutal while we were there, but it was simply awesome.

Muddy water outfitters in Wichita Falls. Been going with them 5 years in a row now. Never had a bad hunt and they are much cheaper than the majority of the outfitters in texas. Lodging kinda sucks though, but Mike and all his guides are great people
