Be sure you have crab and it wouldn't hurt to have some mullet. I have caught them with both although you may get a few sharks with the mullet. I would also find a drop off where it transitions from say 8' down to the pass. I have had better luck in the transition area than in the deep holes.

Oh nah it's a blackjack. And I have all my luck on crabs. Mullet attract sharks. Huge live croakers work very well also for bull reds.
