What is the best way to take care of lizard skin boots? I've heard baby oil? Tia

I put a little saddle soap on mine every year or so.They are 15+ years old and still look new.

Unless it's some kind of nocturnal lizard, like a gecko, you'll need some kind of UVB bulb. I suggest a UV/Heat combo like one of the mercury vapor bulbs. They're expensive, but work much better and longer than a florescent tube and heat bulb separately.
