boat regristration grace period ?

after you purchase a boat, is there a grace period before you register it and get your boating course certificate?

Your dealer will submit the registration, much like purchasing a car. For the safety course, in LA, you only have to be born after a certain date for it to be needed.

Funny as hell....I am actually standing in line to do exactly that at a FL DMV office. 50 deep in line 15 minutes before it opens
