Stumbled into a pretty good deal on a 21ft Procraft FS I'm gonna freshen up. Motor needs building (although it runs pretty decent like it is).
The question I had is would you guys go back with carpet or sea deck (or like) floor covering. I've never had experience with a sea deck like finish except for I've noticed on my wave runner, that type material doesn't retain heat in direct sunlight during the summer.
Thoughts?

Seadeck is nice. How do you o
Plan on storing it? Most of the issues with failure are due to storing the boat under direct sunlight with no cover and improper prep when installing.

Planning to de-carpet and totally repaint my bay boat in the next year or two.
I have a buddy who just repainted his trawler with something similar to awlgrip. It looks amazing and supposedly will stay looking that way far better than gelcoat. He said other than the extreme amount of sanding, it was easy.
