can we still talk about a duck hunt? I know this was mentioned to you months ago and you said something about contacting you much closer to duck season.

.are you hearing anything about the water at the rigs? The few reports I got were good, and claiming they were catching some nice specs..but this was two weeks ago.
I'll bump the thread in the morning and let you know after I talk to a friend that's been fishing there regularly

I've never tried to find blue water out of Cameron but I know it's really far.
yeah we only do overnighters when we go out of Cameron. 120 + everytime.
Grand Isle and Venice >>>> than Cameron when it comes to easy access to good offshore fishing.

Fish the Johnson Bayou rigs. 15 miles west of the jetties.

Hoping to get out there Friday afternoon for the lake and Sat morning for the rigs

Talked to some guys that fished out of Freshwater city lately and did pretty well, no info on Cameron.

I hear you only have to go 40-50 miles south of the jetties to catch dorado and ling.

that's true, but they will be small chicken dolphin on a rip of somesort or grass patch. You can catch ling closer in too.

Check those patches for triple tail too, you can load up sometimes
