Planting ladino clover and chicory I’m assuming?

Alyce clover as well. I’ve actually planted some sunhemp too but the problem with sunhemp is it’s a pita to follow behind it with fall food plots especially if you get a thick stand

Save your money, time, and trips into the woods and don’t use mechanical or gravity feeders. Soil test, plant fall crops, white clover, or spring/summer crops but summer crops aren’t necessary if you have pines or other terrain with adequate sunlight that you can burn.

I’ve lived on several hundred acres and have managed like this for over 20 years and believe the results far outweigh artificial feeding. Just my experience and opinion.

The folks hunting shooting lanes on piney timber company property will always have an argument for using corn and you fellas that own and or have access to land that is more manageable will always have an argument against using corn.

I don’t think it gets quite that tall but my deer mow food plots down
