Best truck topper

Ok so I want a good topper maybe not the BEST because I’m not trying I spend 5k.
I want to be able to put all my stuff in the back and keep it dry. I haul around a kennel to often for just a rollnlock to work.
What toppers look the best in a GMC Sierra 1500.
Also thinking I want some kind of roof rack where I can build a horizontal rack for my fishing poles up top. I have the short bed and the 6’6 rods I have don’t work really well in the bed.

I was shopping for one recently. They're stupid expensive. Anybody know where I can find one under a grand let me know
