Anyone know which co-op has the better prices on bulk antler max protein? We're going to start feeding 8 boss buck feeders next week on our 1500 acres and pricing where we should pick up our protein.
Thanks
Thanks

Most feed stores (the co-op term drives me nuts because some farm stores are and most- by a long shot now outside of the Midwest- aren’t) offer ton pricing.
The issue you have is you are going to need 1600 pounds if you’re using the small ones and really won’t fill them all that often.
Many deer hunters make this mistake- “I’m gonna show those guys with all of my business” To outdoorsmen- it seems like a lot of feed- but remember Pa Jed is coming there EVERYDAY and buying a ton to finish cows and he buys his bale wrap there, and all his fertilizer for ryegrass- you get the point.
Bottom line- everything is negotiable. If you’re cool ask for a better deal, you’ll likely get some help if you commit to buying all of it for the year.
Most important point- The profit on a bag of feed is about .25-.50 cents- maybe a $1 on the real high end horse stuff- so even though the product you’re buying is relatively expensive- the store doesn’t have a ton of wiggle room.

Circle A feed in Albany will cut a couple bucks off of pallet prices.
I think they have record rack for 11$ bag by the pallet not sure if they carry antler max.

Tractor supply sells a 50/50 corn protein pellet mix for $9 a bag

That would be the cheapest I’ve seen record rack anywhere in years.
