Bayou Lacomb area recs

Looking for anything fresh water.

Not asking for Coords just basic strategy and maybe a launch.

You can launch closer to the lake in the Fed Reserve too. Check out Bayou Adventure in Lacombe. They sell bait and will give you info. Check out their Facebook and there are some local fisherman with YouTube vids on fishing the bayou.

Main St launch, head South. Start hitting all the canals and bayous off the main bayou. I have most success with 4" purple worms, small compact baits work best. Beetle spins, small crankbaits. If perch are your target, use plastic jigs under weight cork, try different depths (usually good between 12"-18"). Tip jig with piece of live worm (messy but effective) to get them going.
