Trying to decide what to get
Is there a reason to not get device with more options - the one that does 6 and 12V? Admit it's unlikely I use it in 6V mode. Is the bigger one any better? Specs are same but 10 year warranty
Will they charge dead battery? Company website says no but some reviews say yes
Bigger one LINK
Smaller 12 volt LINK

I have owned multiple battery chargers over 35+ years. I can't recall ever using the 6 volt option. What is your intended use for the charger/maintainer? Keeping the battery maintained on a seldom used classic car is much different than needing to charge a deep cycle marine battery.

Recommend the noco genius line. The one and only feature that’s worth paying for in a charger is reliably cutting the current from charge to float when the battery is charged so it doesn’t fry it, and nocos are really reliable. Most have a 6v feature built in, and different modes for agm/lithium, if you like.

Mine looks like the last one you listed. I didn't need the 6v but it was cheap at Costco so I picked it up. I've used it for a few years on my bike if I'm not riding it regularly. It works well, but will not charge a completely dead battery if it is below a certain voltage. I'm not sure what the voltage is, but it has only happened to me once so I used a jump starter to start the bike and then the Battery Tender worked after that.
I'm not sure what the difference is between the smaller and larger ones, but if all you are needing to do is maintain a small battery, any of them should work fine.

Second this. I have one that was under saltwater for nearly 2 weeks that has never missed a beat. Price ain't bad either when compared to similar products. Great product.
