Terrible, tragedy. That is not a good part of town. Apparently he wanted to be close to the bass tournament at the Ross Barnett reservoir. Stay in Pearl, Flowood, Madison or Ridgeland. Spend a little more, but do NOT stay in Jackson. I am not at ALL blaming the victim. Damn terrible.

Last time I was there I stayed at my buddies place on lake rosemond or something like that. He told me then you don't venture out in Jackson.

I only drive through Jackson when I am on my way to gatlinburg or Orlando or places in between.
Sad story I really believe the only place left to live at in America is Alaska, Maine, Montana, Idaho, and maybe Vermont/New Hampshire because these places are cold and sparsely populated.
