You have to pay that 10 dollar reef fish addendum to snapper fish,
And you have to have the snapper check app on your phone and register your fish when you come in, or you risk a ticket. (Or you have to do paper form right when you get it etc)
I know a lot of people didn’t realize that they had to pay additional fee. (Don’t bitch about it it pays for the app and extra resources we needed to have our own season.)

Is this new? I’ve never registered my fish coming in from the Gulf. Let’s be honest my 30 fish I catch a year isn’t shite compared to the commercial guys bringing in 200-300 a day.

I mean, I will probably pay it, but after I paid damn near $1500 for my lifetime licenses, I'm not cool with paying extra BS.
Hunting and fishing has gotten downright expensive for everyday folks who may hunt or fish a couple times a year. It seems it is a little counterproductive sometimes.
