Daves here in LFT.I want an AK47 but like the AR they will be at a premium the GOOD ones.
I am also looking for AR optics as well and carry handle mounts to check out.

I'm in the same boat on the AR. Should have pulled the trigger 6 months ago. Anywhere in BR? frick it, not worth the risk not having it.

I may be the lone one thinking (and hoping) that once this craze dies down in about a month, you will be able to purchase ARs freely again. Big box stores such as Academy/Bass Pro ect don't carry very much inventory on hand. Manufacturers have plenty on inventory in their factories/warehouses that should hit the market to replenish all of the OUT OF STOCK locations. Its not like these manufacturers are going to stop building these guns overnight. Not until a bill is passed banning the guns (if one is ever passed).

I did the same thing last night. Bought the last two 42 rounds that academy had. I think if anything will be outlawed it will be the high capacity magazines. Was planning on buying 2 AR's in the next year, but think I will run pick one up today. Hate to wait.
