Many states are banning the use of deer urine as an attractant/lure. Has anyone tried a synthetic deer urine, and how well did it seem to work.

Stuff is like $90 per gallon

No plan to, but its a hell of a lot cheaper than Tinks or the like. Tinks is around $10/oz I believe.

if the deer drink plenty of water for and lay off the grass for 6 weeks no need for synthetic urine. oh different topic What is the logic of banning actual urine, CWD? Is there science backing that?

No science backing the bans, but being implemented due to CWD precautions. Louisiana had banned all deer urine usage, but modified the ban back in July. Now only deer urine produced by the manufacturers or entities that are actively enrolled and participating in the Archery Trade Association Deer Protection Program are allowed. Guess one better read the fine print on the packaging this year.
