I bought 2 ft tall, $15 command roses from Home Depot. They were 4 or 5 feet tall in less than 2 years. I would never waste time on a seed, personally.

Most roses are grafted onto a hearty root stock. Unless you want to grow and graft they won't turn out as well as what you can buy from a nursery

Too much work

Too easy to buy the plant you want. I have not planted roses in years - I may have to get back into that.

These are hybrid colors that I haven't been able to find locally is why I was going to raise them from seed.
