It does lmao, I just saw it while looking on Google earth for spots for catfish, just wondering if anyone has been there because I saw trails going into it..

I haven’t been there but back the levee ponds can be dynamite right after the river falls out or all the time if they don’t get hammered on the regular. I’ve had 50 bass days on a couple more than a few times

No way would I fish down by the river. Too many guys living in vans...and tents.

I used to fish the borrow pits at the end of Ben Hur. When they started building Lauberge there got to be a lot more activity there. I was working on the ag center research farm and wold dump a 14 ft jon in one of the pits every evening. myself and another guy who worked out there would hammer the bass on watermelon flukes. We would catch 30 or 40 in an afternoon before a lot of the casino construction workers started fishing it.
It was weird how one pit would be clear water and the pit next to it with only 20 yards of land separating the two would be muddy as all hell.
