Anyone been fishing Shell Beach area?

Has anyone been fishing this area recently? Thinking about making a trip out of Campo's Sunday.

If you want live shrimp from Campos be there by 4:00 am. Redfish are there for the taking, if you want trout you need to head towards Breton Island to find clean water. That is if this weekend is the same as last

I launched out of Campos last Friday. As posted above the shrimp were gone, but I got some off a boat trawling in MRGO. Water was dirty, I managed a mix box of 10 fish. Not sure where the reds were stacked up, but I never found them.

Staying at Campos Saturday & Sunday nights. Not thrilled but no lodging on GI and I don’t want to cancel. Gonna give it a shot. Can usually scare up some reds in the dirty water if the wind is right.

Was at the LR a few weeks ago and water wasn’t that great. Think we are going to poke around Eloi and if the water stinks there cut through to Delacroix.
