Definitely need to add gas to the situation. They blow up, but there's no real flame. The gas gives you the mushroom cloud of flames and everything. I had a video of it, but can't find it anymore. I have no idea how this is still legal.

Tannerite is pretty fun to shoot. We do a dove/hog hunt every year for opening weekend and bring some tannerite. This was a 100 lb pig with 1LB of tannerite under it. The pig was dead before we shot it FYI. and there is an F bomb at the end of the video.

Just make sure you're far enough back to miss the shrapnel flying your way.

We shoot these all the time out here, they got popular when the Zombie Apocalypse Store opened and sold them as Zombombs. Really fun after Halloween with pumpkins but I think hog trumps pumpkin.
Be careful when mixing it though, a couple weeks ago some people were shooting them out where we shoot and it blew up when they were mixing it. On my phone so I can't link it but you can probably google the story.
