I've had my Springfield XDs mod 2 (9mm) for a couple years now and love it. I hate carrying the same gun everyday so I rotate every couple weeks or so. So I want to keep the Springfield in the rotation. A couple months ago, I got the P365 and it immediately made me realize how terrible the trigger on my XDs was. I've looked around and I can really only find OEM trigger parts or a kit from some company called Powder River Precision.

So, anyone replace a trigger on an XD? Or have any opinion on the PRP company? Thanks.

Sell it and buy a Hellcat. That’s what I did. Loved it so much, I bought 3.

I do like the Hellcat. I was down to that or the Sig a few months back and went with the Sig.

I really do like the XDs so I don't want to sell it. But I've just realized what a mushy mess the trigger is. And I'm not really picky about that kind of thing on an EDC gun. But after handling the Sig and my other guns, it's just like wtf...

I did a Powder River trigger upgrade on a subcompact XD several years ago and it made a big difference. It wasn't too hard but it did require some fitting (it wasn't plug and play).

Cool. It looks like they are the way to go for a Springfield job. I was just trying to see if anyone had experience with them here.

Thank you.
