Any recent reports on bass in southern La?

Thinking of making a trip tomorrow. Not sure where to go. Thinking Belle River, Lake Verret, or maybe Henderson. Thanks in advance

Buddy of mine went to Bayou Black last 2 Fridays and caught a bunch of bream and sac-a-lait. Also caught limit of bass. Im not familiar with that area.

To answer your question: Heard the Basin is high but may be starting to come down. may have better luck farther north.

Try bayou black. Water is filthy in the lake. Even in places I've never seen nasty water. Spillway is too high.

Thinking I may try Henderson. Closer to my house. That way if I don't catch, I wont have as far to drive.
