We caught some nice fish in Carisse Creek on gold/black jerk rouge.
People in the tourny caught on chatter baits on 4-5ft flats.
I did see lots of buck bass on the beds. The mommas are still a little deeper.
A jig worked in about 8-10 ft of water but I got tired of putting up with the snags and grass.

Went Th-Sat, tough fishing. Launched the boat Thursday morning in 35 degrees. Rained on Saturday... spinner baits and brush hogs around docks in the back of creeks was the best pattern we found, and we tried everything. Lots of people catching on bama rigs on secondary points in about 23-30' but after throwing it for a couple hours, I said frick that, back to the docks. There are a good bit of bucks up on beds, a few females, only caught one bedding bass, none of the others were dedicated enough yet. Saturdays front probably jacked them up again, next weekend should be money though.

I went Friday and Sat. Three guys in boat we all had our limit. caught as many throwbacks one of my best days on the bend. Saturday we ended up with 14 keepers and more throwbacks the rain hit at noon sat but we still fished. biggest 5.48 We fished in the mid lake area.

Caught 16 keepers Saturday fishing some islands just off south state park. Rage tail craws and baby brush hogs on a Carolina rig. Pulling through the grass in 6-8 ft of water.
