Very true. I got out of a place because of the neighbors dog habits. Nothing like sitting around the fire listening to the dog running deer all night long on our lease. They made zero effort to pick them up. They ran loose the entire season.

I know it must suck. But we catch ours every night before dark. And do everything we can to keep them on our property. But sometimes a deer gets by someone and we end up chasing them on a neighbor’s property. That’s the nature of the game.

Trust me. I don't judge all dog guys by these people. They would bring in a flatbed trailer load and loose them on their 50 acres. They leased the 775 acres of Roy O Martin land next to their property. It gave them a way to run dogs on their lease and not lose it. The dogs would stay on their side for a couple days and they would all end up on us. They would tear up our trash and one even went sleep in someone's bed, lol. They were emaciated by the end of the season. They ended up losing their Roy O property when the land man finally saw for himself what they were doing. They got away with it for many years.

Each time this thread comes up, I want to recommend each of you go read the first chapter of Tenth Legion by Col Tom Kelly

Perhaps the greatest description of deer hunters ever penned. And yes, I know he was making fun of me as well.
