4L60E Transmission owners - Corvette Servo Question

For you ‘90 through mid ‘00 GMC/Chevy truck owners with rebuild experience, have you considered installing a Corvette servo? Apparently it increases the fluid flow and makes the transmission shift harder. This is supposedly good for the transmission and decreases the wear on the transmission components.
Anyway, have you noticed a decrease in fuel mileage? Ever since doing mine, I’ve lost around 50 miles per tank of gas.

Definitely increases trans life.
Never noticed mpg difference.
If shift points changed that could effect mpg.
I would clean the mass air. Change air and fuel filter. Might be coincidental that mpg dropped.

It increase shift force by increasing throttle pressure which will keep it in a lower gear a little longer. This should not effect highway MPG. Around town you can let off on the throttle and induce it to shift earlier than it would normally do. It takes a little while to get accustomed to doing this.

I'm curious to see what people say. I've been thinking of doing the same thing to my transmission.

Mine seems to be doing fine. Like mentioned earlier, i think it was a coincidence with my gas mileage. My engine light came on and said it was a MAF sensor issue.
I’m curious to some of the others. Mine only seems to shift when it’s been been on the highway nonstop for 40 miles. Then, when it comes to a red light, it feels like it’s gonna rip itself apart from under the truck. So basically, it only does it when it’s running warm instead of cold.

You rebuilt the transmission yourself?

Lol, i had a local shade tree mechanic do it. That could be part of my problem.
