It isn’t .375 ruger, 416 rem mag or .458 win mag recoil. But it is serious. I have a 24” howa I put in a boyd’s walnut stock. And it is awesome. But recoil is VERY noticeable.
Recoil Energy Comparison
.270 win: 10-17 pounds
7 rem mag: 15-22 pounds
.30-06: 10-20 pounds
.300 win mag: 23-26 pounds
.338 win mag: 33-35 pounds
.375 h&h: 30-37 pounds
Still, it is very manageable. Buy one.

I bought a 338 Lapua Mag and it is a cannon. Love it.
